Heather Symbalisty

Heather Symbalisty, CPHR Candidate is the Executive Director of Samaritan House Ministries Inc. which is the second largest food bank in Manitoba. She oversees the Safe and Warm Shelter, Employment Resource Centre, Adult Literacy & Learning Program and Mary’s House Second Stage Housing. Heather has worked in a variety of fields from agriculture to financial and finally the not for profit sector. Heather has been an advocate for gender-based violence, homelessness and food insecurity along with several other areas.

Heather worked full time while raising her family and completing her Certificate in Human Resource Management at the University of Manitoba. She is currently working on completing her CPHR Candidacy and educating herself on other areas of interest.
